The production of food may not require so much space, money and equipment. This depends on the technique of gardening that will be used. Perhaps, what is necessary is how much time one invested, but this does not mean a 24/7 kind of working.
What is important is how much time one can allocate to study and exercise the methods as well as the other food preparation skills such as learning how to make pasta from scratch or acquiring knowledge on methods such us pickling or food preservation. Aside from what has been mentioned, knowing the basics of food safety with good manufacturing practices is just as important to be taken note of.
